This Privacy Policy describes how Option Stranglers, a business of Nova Advisory LLP (UEN: T24LL0389K) ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit or make a purchase from optionstranglers.com.sg or optionstranglers.com (the "Site"), join our communities, or otherwise use our educational services (collectively, the "Services"). We comply with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").

By using the Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

What we collect

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number.
  • Account & order information — your purchases, subscription tier, billing history, and account credentials.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment processors (e.g. Shopify Payments and its partners). We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
  • Community & communication data — messages you send to us or post in our private communities (including Telegram and WhatsApp), your Telegram/WhatsApp handle, and questions you submit to our AI assistant. AI assistant conversations may be logged to improve the service and maintain records of the educational nature of responses.
  • Usage data — device, browser, and interaction data collected via cookies and similar technologies.

We are an education business. We are not a broker: we do not open trading accounts for you, hold your funds, or execute trades, and we do not collect your brokerage credentials. Never share brokerage login details with us or anyone in our communities.

How we use it

  • To provide the Services — deliver subscriptions, course access, community access, and support.
  • To administer billing and manage your subscription.
  • To communicate service updates, and (with your consent or as permitted by law) marketing you can opt out of at any time.
  • To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To improve our content and tools, including reviewing logged AI assistant conversations.

Cookies

We use cookies to run the Site, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not function without them.

Disclosure

We disclose personal information only to: (a) service providers who process it on our behalf (hosting, payments, messaging platforms, analytics, AI infrastructure), under appropriate safeguards; (b) regulators or authorities where required by law; and (c) a purchaser or successor in a business transaction, subject to this policy. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Shopify, Telegram, cloud and AI providers) are located outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we take steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. accounting records), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to or correction of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to its collection, use, or disclosure (which may affect our ability to provide the Services). To exercise these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at support@optionstranglers.com.sg. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last updated" date.
